Having registered four goals prior to the Monday fixture, Abass crowned a memorable outing in the Ghana Premier league with a pair of goals to the delight of his technical bench.
An opener from the former Young Apostles FC center forward was cancelled by Tetteh in the end to end showdown.
The festival of goals then saw the visitors raising into a deserved 1-2 lead before Abass pulled parity with a beauty to climax the game.
The hard earned point moved Accra Lions into fifth position on 27 points, just five points adrift of the league leading Aduana Stars FC.
