Division One League side Young Apostles Football Club joined the Omanhene of Wenchi to undertake massive clean up campaign along some principal streets in the community.
The hugely patronized project , led by His Royal Highness Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabroko III, saw the entire playing body and management of Young Apostles FC actively partaking amidst entertainment from the crowd.
Wenchiman accepted Young Apostles FC with opened arms for the start of the 2023/24 Ghana football season with the second tier side currently topping zone 1B after 13 rounds on matches.
The massive turn out at the home matches of Young Apostles FC confirmed the telepathic bond between the club and the Wenchi town.
This visible bond was replicated at the clean up exercise as the players and management joined the town in the one day programme.
The second round of the 2023/24 season resumes on February 23, 2024 after the one month AFCON break.
